Palmdale Honda Dealership First to Open CNG Fueling Station
May 2007 - A Palmdale, California Honda Dealership became the first Honda dealership in the nation to offer public refueling for vehicles using compressed natural gas. The dealership, Robertson's Honda, held a Grand Opening party to celebrate and mark this momentous occasion. Refreshments were provided and a ride and drive was offered to give attendees a chance to test drive the new Honda Civic GX. The event was especially kind to current owners of natural gas vehicles, as the dealership provided free fuel to those who arrived in a natural gas vehicle.

Trillium Gets Contracts for Two CNG Refilling Facilities
May 22, 2007 - The Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) awarded two contracts totaling $24.1 million to Trillium for construction and maintenance of two compressed natural gas refueling stations, according to a press release from Trillium. The two stations serving 175 CNG buses will be located at the OCTA bus bases in Anaheim and Garden Grove. "This award comes on the heels of our on-time and on-budget completion of the CNG fueling station at OCTA's Santa Ana Bus Base. We worked very hard to make that project a success and we are pleased to have earned more business from OCTA," noted Mark Barton, President of Trillium, which is WestStart-CALSTART participant.
