City of Santa Monica replacing aging BBB fleet
February 23rd, 2010 - PCity officials are planning to spruce up the Big Blue Bus fleet with nine new 40-foot buses that run on compressed natural gas.

Some Southern California Districts to See More Funding for Natural Gas
February 18th, 2010 - The South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) board recently approved an additional $2.85 million in funding that will help school districts pay for replacement CNG buses.Overall, a little more than $16 million was approved by the board for other projectsas well, including low-emission trucks at the ports and either retrofitting or replacing highly polluting construction equipment with newer models. click here  >

AT&T Rolls Out 1,000th Alternative Fuel Corporate Fleet Vehicle
February 18th, 2010 - AT&T today announced the deployment of its 1,000th alternative-fuel vehicle in its corporate fleet. The deployment is part of a $565 million planned investment announced in March 2009 to replace more than 15,000 fleet vehicles with more fuel-efficient models through 2018. City of Burbank Refuse Fleet Goes 100% CNG, Saving Money and Caring for the Environment
February 10th, 2010 - Government-Fleet.com informed that the City of Burbank, California, recently placed into service a new 2009 solid waste rear-loader collection truck powered by compressed natural gas (CNG).
