Delaware Express Converts Vans to Compressed Natural Gas
May 29th, 2015 - Delaware Express (DES), which offers airport shuttle services, motor coach and car services in Delaware and surrounding states, recently converted multiple vans to compressed natural gas (CNG). Ryder Expands NGV to Arkansas with Alpha Packaging and Boyd Metals Transportation
May 22nd, 2015 - Ryder System, Inc. has expanded its natural gas vehicle (NGV) offering into Arkansas for the first time with two customers; Alpha Packaging, Inc. and Boyd Metals Transportation LLC. The CNG vehicles for both Alpha Packaging and Boyd Metals Transportation will be maintained by Ryder at its Fort Smith, Ark. service facility, which is being engineered to meet the unique compliance requirements for natural gas. Environmental Group: Are Natural Gas Trucks Really Cleaner?
May 20th, 2015 - Shifting from diesel fuel to natural gas to power the U.S.' heavy-duty commercial trucking sector would achieve widely promised climate benefits, but only if widespread emissions of heat-trapping methane across the natural gas value chain are reduced, according to a new study co-authored by researchers from Environmental Defense Fund (EDF). Agility to Open in North Carolina
May 12th, 2015 - Agility Fuel Systems released details at ACT Expo about the 204,000-square-foot production facility it will open later this year in Salisbury, N.C. The plant, which will be Agility’s third, is strategically located north of Charlotte in close proximity to heavy duty truck and bus OEM assembly plants. In addition to CNG fuel cylinder assemblies, the Salisbury facility will see production of new Type IV all-composite cylinders from Hexagon Lincoln, fruit of the joint venture announced at ACT Expo 2014 one year ago in California. Anheuser-Busch Recognized as Green Fleet of the Year
May 6th, 2015 - America’s largest brewing company, Anheuser-Busch was presented with Fleet Owner’s 2015 Green Fleet of the Year award at the Alternative Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo and Conference. The seventh winner of the annual award celebrating fleet commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship, Anheuser-Busch was recognized for a corporate-wide program that includes converting significant portions of its trucking operations to natural gas, as well as instituting operational changes to improve fleet productivity. UPS to Use Renewable Natural Gas for Part of Delivery Fleet
May 5th, 2015 - United Parcel Service Inc. agreed to use renewable natural gas from Clean Energy Fuels Corp. for some of its delivery fleet, as part of its plan to drive one billion miles using alternative fuel by the end of 2017. Clean Energy Fuels produces a product called Redeem, which is the first renewable natural gas available in commercial quantities. The RNG will be used in stations across California beginning this month to fuel tractors and delivery vehicles. READ MORE >

Rush Enterprises Bringing New CNG Fueling System to Market
May 6th, 2015 - Rush Enterprises bolstered its natural gas presence Monday by formally announcing the birth of Momentum Fuel Technologies, a division of Rush Enterprises that the company calls “a vertically-integrated provider of fuel system solutions, featuring state-of-the-art engineering, design and manufacturing processes, complete system installation capabilities, and the industry’s most comprehensive sales, service and support network.” At the ACT Expo in Dallas, Texas Monday, Momentum introduced the industry’s first complete compressed natural gas (CNG) fuel system solution for Class 6 to Class 8 trucks.
